Design and Build Quality
Hellvape upgrades Drop Dead 2 RDA appearance design by make the angle on top cap smoother. They also change pattern on it to give more grip when we adjust the airflow.
For the logo, still use the same logo as before. DD behind rabbit that people will know directly at first sight.
But for air holes, we can find more air holes here. It gives more option of airflow adjustment which will bring various flavor and cloud level.
Using stainless material, we can know its quality only by touching it. All edges are so smooth, no sharp edge found.

Multiple Airflow Adjustment
Drop Dead RDA OG version only has 2 row of airflow, but this Drop Dead 2 RDA has 3x6 holes horizontally and 3x6 holes vertically diamond honeycomb. In total 18 diamond honeycomb air holes 1x1mm.
The very special thing is, we can choose whether to adjust it by level or adjust it by row. Just rotate the top cap counter clock wise to adjust airflow by row or rotate it clock wise to adjust airflow by level although we can’t close it fully, whether by level nor by row. But who will vape with full airflow closed.
This kind of airflow adjustment let vapers have multiple airflow combination which will bring various flavor as needed.
Dual Coil Postless Build Deck
If OG Drop Dead RDA uses post deck type, now in Drop Dead 2 RDA it uses 24mm postless build deck.
We wont find any issues about post get cracked or broken anymore here. And for coil installation, this postless build deck helps a lot. Just cut coil leg then using coil cutting tools provided by Hellvape and no need to adjust coil heightness like if we install on post deck.
We also get deeper juice well on this Drop Dead 2 RDA, it is 6.2mm deeper. 2mm bigger than OG version, so no more worries about over drip issue.
This RDA also support squonker, just replace 510 pin with BF pin provided in the box.
810 Ag+ Resin Drip Tip and Extra Colorful 810 Drip Tip
Hellvape provides 2 kinds of drip tip, 1 is 810 Ag+ resin driptip. It is shorter than the OG version, more aesthetic, more comfortable on the lips but can deliver better flavor without any annoying heat.
Another drip tip is resin colorful clear driptip. The color follows rda color. Same size but more durable with Ag+ drip tip.
Conclusion
Drop Dead 2 RDA is a perfect RDA for vapers who loves perfection. Start from the material and finishing works, all the craftmanship is outstanding. Including the driptip is on perfect size and material.
For the flavor, it is surprisingly a flavor machine. Multiple airflow adjustment helps a lot to let Drop Dead 2 RDA produces a superb yet various flavor.
We can choose to use airflow by level or by row. Both have different flavor characteristic. Can’t imagine how good this rda can produce the flavor until try it directly.
